A BODY OF ONE OF THE SECURITY WATCH CORPS HAS BEEN RECOVERED IN KATSINA

In the evening of Wednesday, the 13th bof March, 2024, the dead body of one Masa'udu Masa who is a Staff of Katsina Community Security Watch Corps has been recovered at backyard of Yasore Village in Batsari Local Government area of Katsina State
Already, the body has been interred at a Cemetery in Batsari town according to Islamic rites.
Masa'udu Masa is the third Security Watch Corps to die after an ambush by Bandits in Yasore Village as two others suffered the same fate on Sunday, the 10th of March, 2024.
After the Sunday ambush, it was only this Wednesday that the body of Masa'udu was recovered around one o'clock in the afternoon.
Batsari and nine other local governments in Katsina State have been suffering banditry on daily basis.
Katsina State government and various security agencies have been trying to overcome the menace of banditry.
Recalled last week Governor Dikko Umar Radda has purchased new APC vehicles to face the problem headlong.
